　　Centipede yarn is a kind of fancy yarn and also a kind of feather yarn, which is relatively thin, usually around 10S; its structure consists of core yarn and trim yarn, and the feathers are arranged in a certain direction. 　　Poorly formed centipede yarn and the solution

　　In the past two years, there are centipede yarns produced by high-density large waveform imitation crochet machine in the market. These fancy yarns are mostly made of black polyester filament yarn for core yarn and solid yarn, and white ophthalmic long fiber for trim yarn, which are drawn into a very dense waveform and twisted to produce a flat waveform yarn, which is similar to centipede yarn. Due to the high density of waveform, the twist degree should be very high, usually 1200~1400 twist/m, and the output is low, usually less than 10 m/min, when the speed limit of hollow core spindle is not more than 10000 r/min. In addition, due to the high density of waveform, the overfeed is large, usually around 1:3. Conventionally, core yarn and trim yarn up to 1:3 is the process to produce large loop yarn, so to solve this problem, a method with double core yarn in triangle shape must be used. Currently the following methods can be used to produce them.

　　The core yarn is made of 2 black polyester filaments, if 2 110 dtex filaments are used, the most solid yarn density is 165 dtex filaments, so that the solid yarn and the core yarn are similar. 2 core yarns are fed into the 2 grooves of the leather rollers on the front roller through the core yarn rosette, the trim yarn is required to be both soft and flexible because of the large bending, generally 3.23 dtex x 102mm can be used to make the roving Feeding. The fibers are wrapped around the 2 core yarns after drawing by the front roller, the upper end of the core yarn is in the groove of the front roller, the lower end forms an inverted triangle due to the false twist of the empty core spindle, the fibers out of the front roller are wrapped around the bottom of the triangle and gradually move to the tip of the triangle, while bending to both sides to form a waveform. During production, the tension of the 2 core yarns must be kept equal so that the twisting point is concentrated at the apex of the triangle, forming an equilateral triangle. If the tension is not equal, the apex of the triangle drifts to the left and right, resulting in unequal waveforms on one or both sides, and this should be paid special attention. Since a very high twist is used, it is required that there is no resistance when the dummy twist moves up, so the twist hook must be used, and the slanting hole under the empty core ingot cannot be used, otherwise the twist will have a high resistance due to the mutual friction with the wall of the ingot rod and move up slowly, which affects the formation of the waveform. After coming out of the empty core spindle, the twist must be receded by1/2with the ring spindle after the output roller, otherwise the flat shape cannot be generated.
